I've finally seen someone win!

I'm sure when I watched it originally on ITV I never saw anyone win, so that was most enjoyable to see. I somehow feel more complete than I did yesterday  ;)

However, a question for people with better memories of the program. How many times did they use the uppers and downers in the program (first seen for me on Dickon's quest)? Did someone realise the drugs connotation with those names? Was someone having a bit of fun there?

It was a very coool episode, the majority of teams peg it in knightmare.

I am not sure about the drug connotations but, maybe it was a mistake or just a coinenidence, though I doubt think they problely be more carefull about that thing nowadays with all the moral panics about drugs that have been in the media.

I think that was quite an immoral episode, actually ^.^ heheheheheheeee

:-[ Small children taking Uppers and Downers
:-[ Small children offering to give a sweaty man in his forties a horn
:-[ Shifty trade

...and I know there was more cos I made a point of remembering them but i forgotten now which sorta defeats the object...

How about theft? In the clue rooms and of Mellies info?

Poisoning of Brother Mace?

Brother Mace trying to encourge undersage drinking?

minor in a pub?

Heh. There were some pretty dodgy ethics throughout. The whole "truth and justice" claim was a bit undermined by the regular need to convince characters an item was something it wasn't- "It's a magic key", type things.

This moral/ethical/political correctness issue is something that crossed my mind the other day when watching the dungeoneer who nearly fell over when stepping on/off the spinning discs.

While no one thought much about it at the time, with this 'compensation culture' nowaways and the obsession with health and safety etc, I wonder what people would say about it today.
