Best team?
This may or may not have been already asked before (sorry if it has been) but which do you think is the best team from each series (not nescessarily your favourite and don't matter if about every series if you can't think of one) and who do you think is the best team overall (again not nescessarily your favourite)? (or top three)
Which do you think is the worst team from each series (don't matter if about every series if you can't think of one) and the worst team overall? (or worse three)

Series 3: Favourite team - Martin's
Best team - a toss up between Leo's/Martin's
Worst team - Duncan's (I think!) The one I
mean is the one which didn't tell Motley about
the snake!
Series 4: Favourite team - D-i-c-k-on's (lol!)
Best team - ditto!
Worst team - Simon's, because of that
misguiding thing into the pit, hehehehe!
Series 5: Favourite team - has to be Ben's.
Best team - ditto, well they won, didn't they?
Worst team - the one that didn't tell the
dungeoneer to say stop in the descender then
went into the Corridor of Blades.
Series 6: Favourite team - Sumaya's
Best team - Ben's (expert guiding)
Worst team - January's, because they gave
the ring to Sly Hands.
Series 7: Favourite team - who d'ya think? Barry and
his team of course, they were all so funny! ;D
Best team - equal credit to Julie and Barry!
Worst team - can't really think of one.
Series 8: Favourite team - Daniel's (Gideon's shouting
was hilarious!)
Best team - Daniel's (it's just a shame they
died )
Worst team - Richard's. I mean come on,
they ignored the scroll!

*slaps forehead* Douglas, of course! D'oh! I mean Douglas, not Duncan, was the worst team of Series 3.

Favourite teams:
Series 1 = Team 6 (Richard, first team ever to get to Level 3)
Series 2 = Team 3 (Christopher, excellent team and superb death)
Series 3 = Team 11 (Martin, great dungeoneer, very unlucky)
Series 4 = Team 6 (Dickon, brilliant all the way through)
Series 5 = Team 4 (Ben, the stand out quets from a poor performing series)
Series 6 = Team 3 (Alan, an excellent dungeoneer that was very bright)
Series 7 = Team 6 (Julie, only all-girl winning team)
Series 8 = Team 7 (Oliver, just explains the state Knightmare finished on)

Re: Best team?
I remember seeing the episode in series 1 where Level Three was reached for the first time. I believe it was the last in the series. Very tense.

Re: Best team?
Hey!
I think I'm largely in agreement with James on this score.
S1 has to be Richard's: Level 3 for the first time was really something else.
S2 has to be Christopher: I loved the formal clothes and all. They did so well, and the stony silence that ensued; what a shame. Great going chaps.
S3 is Leo's team and Ross' team. The former because they were brilliant, and, again, level 3 and the mine cart and everything was fascinating. Their tussle with Mogdred was thrilling as well. Ross' team weren't the best, needed a fair bit of help, but the quest was filled with unusual bits and pieces, including one of my fav.rooms/death sequences, makes it special and memorable.
S4: hmm.. I liked Giles' team - chase vs. goblins that has been source of my imagination for years; in that I thought I remembered a spell was used to flee a goblin pursuit for ages, and yet had never come across it, so began to think I'd made it up. Loved the jogging, ducking and diving of the corridor of blades and the block and tackle - would have loved to see them continue. Also shout out to the Sunderland team! Hey, middle of level 3 is not a bad effort, although admittedly they faced no block and tackle.
S5: Ben's team were good winners - the Winteria scene was brilliant - but I am sceptical about the final puzzle of the dungeon, and its ease. Also liked Alex's team, and Chris' team was fun to watch. What I liked about the latter, was how the introduced themes or additional storylines within quests were starting to take shape. This showed that they could make a mistake, but could have rectified it with the Jesters card. The second mistake was too much, but it was fun nonetheless.
S6: Ben's team were great. The directional ability was the best I've seen barring Barry's quest, and I think the principle, like Chris' team at the end, of staying facing forwards and side-stepping through the causeways were the best bet. Like S5, the idea of the 'last dungeons' made the end of their quest all the more exciting. I also loved Chris' quest. Mark Knight was fabulous all round, and it made for the most exciting end of series encounter in my opinion - fantastic. Still, favourite was Alan's - full of creepy dwarf tunnels and anticpated ambushes and all, fabulous stuff.
S7: The incredible thing about Barry's quest, was that the team went into it with the confidence that they could cope with anything, and so anything and everything was thrown at them. In that way, giving the team a dungeon to match and test their abilities was a grand battle. Julie's team, with the 'Arken' quest on the side, were fully worth their victory too, brilliant. Also, I believe, Paul Valentine's greatest moment in KM: Hands' scene becoming drunk - priceless. I also loved Nicola's quest - had one chase from goblins and Raptor in level 1, and eventually fell to a shockingly scary death to goblins and a troll in L2.
S8: Teams 2 and 3; Daniel and Nathan. First one was brilliant, and getting up to the corridor of blades was a grand achievement. The latter, with Hordriss and Maldame incorporated, again, showed the kind of sub-plotting within quests that kept the respectability within S8 that KM deserved. Shame about the ending!!

Re: Best team?
Martins team in series 3, Martin was just so sarky to his mates and to Mellisandre about motley being good at his stunts.
also ben's team in series 6 they were just excellent.
ohh and not forgetting the all girl winning team and Barry's team
Barry was just like martin from series 3
also ben's team in series 6 they were just excellent.

Re: Best team?
Hmm...
SEASON 1:
- BEST: Team 6. Got really far, went through a decent number of perils, and only really made one mistake (not taking the Horn - although they were the first to reach L3 so didn't really have any clue on what to take).
- WORST: Team 2. Very brief quest, little achieved in what time they had.
- FAVOURITE: Team 6, for the same reasons as above.
SEASON 2:
- BEST: Tie between Teams 4 and 10. Both won, both were equally good at getting through the dungeon.
- WORST: Team 6. Apologies to Akash, who I think would have been far better off on his own!
- FAVOURITE: Team 10. A most exciting quest... I could say simply for their escape from Medusa. However, Team 3 come close. A valiant and exciting quest, and although they lost, they went out in arguably the best way!
SEASON 3:
- BEST: Team 11. Martin's quest felt far less flawed than Leo's... both went out in pretty much the same way (one riddle, one incorrect answer), but Martin seemed to be more succesful on his way to Level 3 than Leo.
- WORST: Team 8. Obviously.
- FAVOURITE: Team 11. Martin was a great dungeoneer, who gave an added "something" to the quests. Though Ross's quest was one I remember since first time it was shown, and it's always held a special place in me.
Have to do the others later...
