Treguards Hair
Was it just me or did Treguard have a new haircut for one episode the other day, a little more swept back. I think I'm spending too much time watching it. By the way, does anyone know why they brought Pickle in? Not to disrespect him as he was great, but what was the reason? Was it for more banter?
Cant even quest!

Re: Treguards Hair
why the little elf? i think due to giving extra support for the teams... he did help many of the teams with advice and stuff with out him they would have to find out the hard way.
aslo adding the woods ment they needed someone who knew and understood them,
Aslo we saw him looking after the younger teams and adding comedy

I noticed the eyeliner too! Then I thought, nah, it must be the way the firelight falls on his face or, er, something But no, I do believe it was eyeliner ;)
I remember reading somewhere that the producer was thinking about getting an assistant for Treguard, and then he met David Learner in a pub or something, who asked if he'd ever thought about getting an assistant for Treguard, to which he responded yes actually I have, and then David was asked to try out and agreed, being an out-of-work actor, and he got it! :D I think that's the basic gist of what I read, but don't quote me on it, I may be wrong, it has been known ;)

Re: Treguards Hair
Regarding the hairstyle, I think they were still experimenting.
I'm certain that Pickle was brought in not only to aid the teams but to enable Hugo Myatt to do some acting! Another character in the room with him allowed for a lot more banter. It gave Treguard something to do. It allowed his character to be developed.

Subject to change.

Lets not forget series 4 team 4, the famous Simon (Sidestep left) Where pickle actually appeared in the forest to tell Fatilla that Simon was a military forrager and fatilla actually believed him! hehewhy the little elf? i think due to giving extra support for the teams... he did help many of the teams with advice and stuff with out him they would have to find out the hard way.

I recon they also introduced Pickle to get some of the 'pink' viewing audience if you know what I mean, after all, he was very camp, hehe

Re: Treguards Hair
How did he get into the forest in such a short amount of time?
umm 'pink' lol But u must remember he is an Elf and that is a nature of an Elf. Not being pink but acting that kind of way.

Re: Treguards Hair

And I never realised it's the nature of an elf to act camp, and there was that whole banana in the rucksack thing at the beginning of series 4, hmmmmmmmm

Re: Treguards Hair
I don't remember Legolas, or any of the other elfs at Rivendell hiding bananas in unusual places, but then I've only seen the film.lol its just the nature of the lef.. just read or watch the lord of the rings u get a much better view on the Elf.
Or are you suggesting that it is in an elfs nature to help people out and a banana was just an unfortuneate but amusing choice?

Re: Treguards Hair
I think it was the amusing choice and Pickle might have helped bicause he's a Knightmare elf and not a Lord of the rings elf.... was there any point to this message?
