Why were McGrew and Sidris affraied of goblins when both should have been capable of dealing with them?

Was the Hobboblin in S5 yhe same one as in S3?

Well, I imagine superstition and leeriness would come into play (humans are able to deal with spiders but a lot of people are still frightened of them), but in any case why are you so sure they were capable of dealing with them? Sidriss' magic always misfires so she would've had very little hope, and while McGrew would win most one-on-one battles, goblins hunt in packs. Outnumbered and surrounded he would be hard-pressed to beat them.

Granted Sidris is not all that hot on the magic, but bold black McGrew could "cleve them in twain with his claymor," after all Gundrada could sort them out.

Actually if he had never come up against Goblins before he might have reason to fear them, especially if he is unsure of their abilities and just how many of them are lurking nearby.

Many consider black people to be dangerous... In medieval times, that is... They were used as slaves but they easily overpowered the Britons on their ship and made their escape...

Huh what do you mean anyway by bold black McGrew. McGrew weren't black, but he did have black hair and a black beard. Didn't he also fight of that sword?

i never meant to imply in any way that McGrew was black. I was quoting McGrew himself. It mean't black-hearted not skinned.

I think that anyone in the dungeon who even had half a brain cell would be scared or a t least warey of Goblins.
  • They hunt in packs
  • They are stupied so mostly they don't realise when they have been beatern
  • The thout of being eateren would I imagine scare even a warrior like McGrew.

I'm not to sure about The Hobgoblin.

It could be Tiny.

"Then again me an Him were never on speaking terms so I never ask im about his histoy. Not that I'd ave been able to understand im any way. No one but another Goblin understands a Goblin or Hobgoblin."

Why are Goblins scared of Dungarth?

In Series 3-4 are Goblins under the control of the opposition or are they looking out for themselves?

In series 4 I think there were two groups of Goblins, those who come from the forest of Dun and those who come from Duntley wood rather than the same group tracking the Dungeonere from one level to tyhe next.

I also think that the level 3 goblins of series 3 were a different group to those found in levels one and two because they cwould not be able to get to level 3 because of the forcefield.

The forcefield was the reason why there was little traffic between the two levels apart from the Dungeoneres and those who could teleport themselves.

Did the same people who played the Goblins also play the cavernwights and Mirmen?

According to the interview, the Goblins were played by members of a local dance school. No idea about the other creatures, I'd say it is likely however.

Was it better when the Goblins had their own hunting bands or when they had a human master?

Which Goblin master was best?

Why couldn't the Goblins enter Dungarth?

That is a good question, maybe they themselves were frightened of what they would find there(Goblins probably do have feelings to as well!!!)
I loved Hob Goblins , especially the first time we saw it in s3.
"Extreme danger a Hob goblin in the level"
Bigger and nastier than a silly little goblin!!!!
