Re: Dunstan and the 'Short Cut' (Fixed?)

While we're on the subject of floor puzzles, was the one shown at the very end of series 5 ever used?

It looked hideously complex - alternately black and white tiles with numbers on them, which reversed occasionally (i.e. 72 becomes 27, etc.), and five doors at the end.

Can I just say what a brilliant name that is?  ;)
Hooray for me.

Re: Separated at birth?

My knowledge of Knightmare can't be as good as I thought... I don't even remember who the one on the top picture is. And I looked through the Series 7 pages yesterday, and had no idea what the Brollachan was. When I saw the blue thing in the wall... "What is THAT?!" My three-year-old (at the time) b...

Re: left.. no right

There was a great moment near the end of Series 4 when one advisor couldn't tell left from right... It was like that scene out of Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail. Advisor 1: OK, get up from the table and sidestep to your left. Advisor 2: (Er... right, sir). Advisor 1: Right. Advisor 1: Sides...

Re: Dunstan and the 'Short Cut' (Fixed?)

Sounds fair enough to me. I might remember this wrongly, but didn't one of the earlier teams find a 'short cut' as well?

Re: Knightmare Reformat

TimeGate looks decent - just viewed the trailer - although I'm not too sure whether the object of the game fits the setting (is this playing for money, or is the money just used as a "score"?) I didn't really like the "professor"(?) character either, he seemed to be too much of an alternative versio...

Re: Knightmare the game

I played the Amiga version of Knightmare, I was very disappointed with it - it's like Eye of the Beholder, but with the inspired feature that you lose health if you walk into a wall. I do have some programming knowledge (if you count using MMFusion as 'real' programming), but a Knightmare game would...

Re: Not Knightmare but almost

I was too young when the original was on to compare it to the modern one.
