You're right; with no way of knowing if there were any more rooms following the Trial by Spikes (and, if so, how many), it's impossible to guess. My guess of DICE was based on the idea that whatever was in the room with two stools was needed to complete a spell in its entirety. I don't think that th...
Once a team makes a wrong decision (e.g. taking incorrect clue items, failure to get a spell from a character, whatever) they'll simply be killed off in the next room rather than allow events to play out and be killed by the mistake they actually made. That's true. I remember Tim talking at some po...

I've recently found out that there's actually a series of children's books called "Knightmare!". They are about a young boy training to be a knight. Presumably, he's already earned his Silver Spurs of Squiredom.
It depends which pooka you're talking about. There's a memorable credits sequence that features a pooka in Series 6, but I seem to remember (although I may be wrong; it's hazy) one appearing during the Series 5 closing sequence? The Series 4/5 pookas (or "hauntings"), I always thought, had a scarier...

When was Knightmare even on freeview regularly ? I think maybe six, seven years ago but even then it was only one or two episodes back to back. Not nearly enough to satisfy real enthusiasts of the show. :( A few years back - and the actual date escapes me somewhat but I'm thinking 2013 - Challenge ...

I did indeed go to the previous Blackpool meetup as per Alan's list, but I don't plan on going to this one, so I don't have any opinion about dates.
I'm dredging up this cranky old cobweb-strewn thread , for old time's sake. As some of you may remember, or have been wondering, Knightmare RPG Series 4, 5, 6 and 7 never saw the light of day. In its wake came other community-sourced Knightmare projects with a greater level of success, mainly on a s...

I'd be happy to job share it with Jen but with the increased number of lates at work now extended to finishing at 9 some weekends I couldn't commit to it solely. The good thing about job-sharing OP duties on IRC is that it's completely possible. The channel owner (that's Mystara) can set as many pe...
... Where did Mogdred go? Level 4, perhaps? :green: I remember Merlin's Knightmare Top Trumps card (from The Quest ) saying something along the lines of: It is rumoured that one day, while experimenting with Time, Merlin inadvertently threw himself back to the mediaeval period, along with his evil ...

Something that a lot of people know (but a few don't) is that the name of the song is The History of Everything , and that it's a BNL song in its own right, as opposed to just a theme song. I saw BNL play it live about a year ago. There's a video of the full thing (with lyrics) here . However, I thi...

Just watched this episode again and yes, there is a giant snake on top of the overhead lattice in the room where Ben meets Elita! I can't help but wonder why it's there. I don't recall seeing that particular snake before, and I don't think it has any part to play in this particular quest. Knowing El...
Curiouser and curiouser. That's not quite the end of the quest, though - the final conflict would then have been with the dragon, probably defeating it with a spell from Merlin. Which kind of makes sense. We don't know what a 'win' sequence from Series 1 would have looked like, but judging from Seri...
