Re: Blackpool meetup in June-August 2019?

I'm a yes in principle, providing it doesn't clash.

YHA does group rooms at a saving... who would like to be in a room share with me (and the others that do too)?

Re: Blackpool or Whitby

Regarding Whitby... It's mainly a sight-seeing type place, there isn't a whole lot in the way of entertainments it's definitely a make-your-own fun job. An ideal setting though for getting into role play and related games. There are lots of attractions etc. in areas around Whitby but that would then...

Re: Midnight Hunt Meetup: March 5-7 2016

I'm in favour of Whitby over Blackpool for a Midnight Hunt setting. I wouldn't be able to do both meets though, one or the other. Whitby has a lot to offer in terms of appropriate theme. Blackpool would have to be one of those "characters out in the real world" scenarios. We've never been to Whitby ...

Re: Meetup: Weekend of 28 Feb 2015 in York

Just a little bump to say it's not to late to get involved for anyone still interested. Hotels have been booked, plans have been laid, don't miss out of what will be a weekend to remember one way or another ;-)

Re: Meetup: Weekend of 28 Feb 2015 in York

Just to add to what Alan's said above. Basically this is a mixture of general social stuff as well as an opportunity to participate in the creation and playing of an early version of what will become the next Midnight Hunt for a future KM Convention. What's a midnight hunt? It's a game played outsid...

Postby dugeoneerborne » Sat May 24, 2014 11:31 am ... I never got a reply to the email I sent to the guys about the pics, I'll check the link out. Paid for My photo. A response was e-mailed on 21st May at 11:!8. Admittedly several days had passed from your original e-mail but I opted to getting the ...

Re: Meet up?

Just comments on the main points raised... Alstonefield - Used before, worked before, more than enough people to arrange collection from train station(s) so long as people are given a time to be collected. We've used it twice previously without a problem. The reviews don't give their reasons for rat...

Re: "The road to Hell and back" - Halloween 2010

Just a quick heads up, there's a lot of BOGOF offers floating around for Alton & Thorpe Park at the moment. Even though it does mean taking time off we've tried weekends / school holidays with these trips previously and it was shockingly bad (busy beyond belief).

Next KM Social Trip

Initial plans are being made for a KM trip to Wales. The potential date is 25th August 07. Currently being examined is the possibility of staying in either YHA accomodation or at a static caravan park. It would be for 5 nights and at an estimated cost of £17.50 per night. The plan is to tour around ...

Re:The Helmet

Mr Brollchan is right, the original does indeed use a safety helmet, a yellow one if I recall correctly. They need used foam around the outside of it to give it the shape and then layers of paint of top of that. The ridges are made from string painted gold. Makes it very light to wear and comfortabl...

I didn't say that they should be held liable though did I? And nor should they be. What I did say was a comparison, that just like P2P networks eBay serve a legitimate and illegitimate trade. However, they're never attacked by the media moguls E.g. RIAA, MPAA... I believe that anyone providing a ser...
