Had a strange dream about elves last night.

In the dream i met a male elf who told me that he was pregnant. Was laughing when i woke up. Dreams are weird right.

This dream got me thinking about Lord of the Rings..... for some reason....
So i was wondering can male elves in Lord or the Rings get pregnant....? Or is it just the female ones? I don't know how this would come about..... Male elves having kids.......
Can it be that some elves are looking like males but have the ability to bear young. Like what slugs and snails can do?

Can elves be male,female or a mix or the two?

Anyone know?

Having read extensively about Tolkien's elves and their breeding habits, I've never seen any mention of male pregnancy or intersexuality, but then again he doesn't explicitly rule it out!

wow. so it could be possible for a male elf to bear young but must be very unlikely to happen if its not really mentioned in lord of the rings.
