Iain Lee on LBC 97.3FM talks Knightmare

Well I was listening to Iain Lee on LBC 97.3FM around 11.15pm last night and he was talking about old TV shows, and inviting listeners to phone in about it.

Iain mentioned Knightmare to a caller, asking if he remembers it, which the caller did. Iain made a brief description of the show and mentioned that it's on Challenge TV every night. Obviously a fan!

Then the next call was from a old lady who said that she never watched Knightmare originally but now at 7.30pm every evening she watches it without fail, and won't answer the phone or door for anything!

Challenge take note!

;D

Iain Lee is currently standing in for Clive Bull on LBC 97.3FM, weeknights 10pm-1am until Friday 27th August. http://www.lbc.co.uk

Right so everyone phone him up and talk to him about Knightmare ;)

Seriously a free plug for the programme is always a good thing.

Yeah, he did seem to like it when he talked about it on '100 Greatest Kids TV Shows' 3 years ago!

Iain Lee is right now doing a 'Where are they now?' feature on his show, and has asked listeners about the whereabouts of "the presenter of Knightmare", along with Timmy Mallet and Tommy Boyd. www.lbc973.co.uk to listen.

Well I've emailed him telling him who the presenter of Knightmare is. So if he mentions Keith Brollachan, that's one further than getting the name mentioned over the York train station announcement system.

:)

Took a long time didn't it but Iain finally got the answer he was looking for via an e-mail he read out just after midnight (I think). Was that yours (I can't remember the name he read)?.

No idea, I switched off my computer radio just before midnight. But I did sent a couple of emails plus one annomyous text to the studio. If he mentioned Keith Brollachan then yes, otherwise no idea.
