This is proveing to be the hardest chapter to right.

Its proveing to be problamatic, Plot wise.

I think I'll have to drop Brother Mace from the story and Give Motley and his Bride to be a bigger role.

It'll only be 1 scene extra thats all. It's either that or a certain Key to help with a locked door there about to come to.

Right as promised here is a scene from Chapter 2.
Stuart found himself in the middle of Wolfenden market. It was bustling as ever. A man in Blue and cream cloths noticed him. His piercing blue eyes lit up and he made his way over.

“Good day young sir Edward Deal’s The Name Making Deal’s the game. Now who do I have the pleasure of diddling….errr dealing with?”

“Caution is advised when dealing with this man team. Edward Deal all though neutral by his own admissions would shake your hand one minuet and slit your throat the next for a few silver pieces.” Treguard advised.

“He’s a no good slime ball and a con artist.” Elita chimed in “Once sold me a dodge firestone for Smirky. Poor Smirkenorff ate it and was ill for a month turned out he’d given me a green stone he’d used magic on to make it look red.”

“Stuart is my name.” “Stuart well charmed I’m sure".

"I do a nice sideline in charms actually now you bring it up. But first things first your looking a bit peckish so here you go a loaf of bread on the house courtesy of Edward Deal."

Edward slipped the bread into the knapsack and Stuart felt his energy restoring. “So I suspect that since you follow the quest you want the day word. Since I’m a generous sort of chap I’ll give it to you for that bar of silver how about it?”

After a debate the team agreed and Stuart handed the Silver over. "A Pleasure doing business with you the password is Rat Fink got that Rat Fink.”

Richard, Abbie & Gemmar looked at each other doutfully. “Right well I best be off lots of other folks to deal with Ta tar a bit.”

Deal disappeared into the market.

Well the atmosphere feels very authentic.

Not too sure about use of the archaic, "Who do I have the pleasure of diddling... sorry, dealing with?" gag.

I Know its corny, But its become Deal's catchprase of sorts on The Roleplay Forum.

It's Like Sly's "Hands Like Feet But Down The Other End Of Yer Body." gag.

I know it's his catchphrase  -  it feels even worse there. It's fair enough giving him a regular line, but it would've been better if you'd given him an original one. People were doing the diddling gag back in the 1960's!

If you can come up with a better catchphrase then answers on a postcard.  ;D

All right.

"My name's Deal. Y'know, Deal? Like wheel only at the other end of the cliche."
