I woudn't know about any new shows these days, I never watch television at all, apart from a bit of good comedy or some sci fi.

TV just doesn't have anything for me any longer.

I know the feeling, mate.

With a bit of luck we'll have Timegate and Knightmare on our screens before the year's out.

The only thing I find worth watching on TV these days is The Simpsons (Sky 1, 7.00-8.00, Middle Common Room). That and the adverts.

Byker Grove is full of sex and drugs these days. It used to be so innocent.

The only reason they get away with it is because it's "relevant" and tackles "modern issues" - which therefore pleases all the pencil-pushing, decaffinated, farty-arty, politically correct, snooty, snotty, banzai-loving, corporate ladder-climbing, smiley-stabby-in-the-bakky, socially sanitised, crisp tie, designer sideburns morons who seem to have taken over the world.

Everyone seems to remember Spuggie. Or as it was always said, Spoogie.

A mate told me that the actress who played Spuggie now works at Fenwick's in Newcastle. She didn't even turn up for Geoff's funeral. PJ and Duncan did.

Does anyone remember Care Bears, it appears that they are coming back and maybe becoming popular again, like bagpus.

Also does anyone remember the Krankie's?

Yeh, I remember both. In at least the case of the Krankies, it's not a pleasant memory.
