Series 9 Life Force: Dungeoneer's Own Face!

(sorry, GG, couldn't resist!  :D )

It can also work to describe teams. If anyone feels like working these out, go ahead. As a prize, dearies, I'll reveal a wellway to the next level (or a banana, your choice):

1. Magic too long
2. Play a while...
3. Lilith loves humbugs
4. Simon, sidestep left
5. Squares, not steps
6. Not magic horn
7. Offer goblins present
8. Dark side delight
9. Green for girl
10. Firestones no good

Anyone who points out that I originally posted this on the wrong thread wins eternal pursuit by the Brollachan. Festus, Mummy's going senile. :(

Malefact on this board: "Festus, din dins"

The discussions about what and who should feature in the new Knightmare and Malefact's insistence on his face idea: "Norgate more important".

Someone's just bound to try to think up an incredibly amusing one to fit me now, I just know it. Before anyone else uses it: "Too many posts". Muhahahaha, I said it first.

I may get Festus set on me for this but here I go anyway: :D

'I am Merlin' = Mogdred (they don't even try to disguise his voice or appearance despite being on different sides of good and evil.)

'Wacky hair style' = Treguard (series 1 and 2)
'Neat hair style' = Treguard (series 3 to 8) (a noticeable difference)

'I feel sick' = Spindizzy
'Mindless abject panic' = Bomb room / Block and Tackle
'S**t your pants' = Corridor of blades :)

'One brain cell' = Sylvester Hands
'No bottom jaw' = Life force energy critical

Why? I see nothing to warrant that, dearie.

Incidentally, "no bottom jaw" is fabulous. :)

I'll rise to the challenge, then.

1. Magic too long
- S4T1, where they cast "Transformation".

2. Play a while...
- ?

3. Lilith loves humbugs
- Sounds familiar, but I can't remember it.

4. Simon, sidestep left
- S4T4, and a great death it was too. <¦-)

5. Squares, not steps
- That one in Series 7 where they misunderstood the instructions on the Trial by Spikes.

6. Not magic horn
- S5T2, where they tried to offer the goblin horn to Scarkill

7. Offer goblins present
- Everyone knows which one this is

8. Dark side delight
- ?

9. Green for girl
- S8T1, they didn't understand the scroll

10. Firestones no good
- Can't remember.

Not a bad attempt, if I do say so myself.

The penultimate word in that sentence causes me pain.

A very good attempt indeed. The questions came courtesy of the Brollachan, who of course doesn't know the answers, so no-one's in danger of being eaten for lack of knowledge. I'll leave it open for a while longer before revealing any answers people can't get.

What, "challenge"?

#8 could be S1T1, who died in the dark room, though I'm unsure about that one.

Nope, sorry. This one's a good excuse to keep watching Challenge?. ;)

I can't watch it - I don't have Sky!

That's the reason that I was hoping that Challenge? didn't get the rights to the other series, because it means that I'll go straight from having a very rare collection of episodes to having an inferior-quality incomplete set.

Of course, I could always convince my parents to get it and stop whingeing. <¦-)

I can sympathise with you, Wong: I am also without Sky.  :(

Olaf the Viking: Lootings, hootings, pillagings!

Elita: You Face Ache

Gundrada: Big f**king sword!

Brollachan: Feed Me Knowledge!
