151-250 : Level 2

As you know, the Brollachan hungers for knowledge and was pleased to see this information posted for its perusal. However, it notes one necessary change:
51- 100 : Level 1
101-250 : Level 2

It's a really cool system - was it based on the staff reward schemes one sees in these fast-food places?
Heh, if it is a fast food system, all those people wandering around here with one star are the sad spotty teenagers who have been positively forced by their parents and the need for cash to get a temporary job at
MacBurger Ltd, and hate every minute of it.
However, by the same analogy, that makes me the 55 year old who's built up a "career" with the
MacBurger franchise, and who after 37 years of working there even mutters in his sleep "Would you like fries with that?".

What does that make us 4-stars? :)

Pretty much brainwashed by
MacBurger's cruel regime, but not without hope of escape. You still get sick of the sight of
MacBurger's own brand chicken sandwiches, the smell of the deep fat fryers and the sound of my voice shouting at you to serve the customers rather than chatting among yourselves about last Saturday's football scores.
Get out while you still can! To stay with
MacBurger is to invite a life of misery, despair and medium sized soft drinks.

I'll drink to that.
*was actually the kind of one-star employee described above at a reputable fast food joint*

Did you know that Pret A Manger is part of the McDonald's chain?

How exactly do you go up in position? Is it for the number of years you have been on this forum, or the number of posts and topics...?

Assuming you mean the titles and stars, it's based purely on postcount. The following is what you need for each level:
51 - Level 1 Dungeoneer (2 stars)
101 - Level 2 Dungeoneer (3 stars)
251 - Level 3 Dungeoneer (4 stars)
501 - Knight (5 stars)
Hope that helps.

They're instant messaging facilities. The running man is for anyone with AOLIM, and the flowers are ICQ. There's a red "Y" symbol that's the Yahoo equivalent.
If you have any of those free facilities, you can just click on those icons to contact that person.

Why Thankye GG, I always wondered what those were all about, is there anything you don't know?

3 x 10 to the eight metres per second actually, well, that's how fast it moves in a vacuum (and therefore my head) but its also normally used for the speed of light in air.
Oh the joys of A-level Physics
