Temporal Discussion, A KM podcast

Post by HStorm »

Myself and Martin Harder are currently working on recording a series of episode-by-episode reviews and discussions of all eight seasons of Knightmare (plus probably a special one for KMVR and KMGW), in which we will, of course, affectionately take the mickey out of it, and give the teams the harshest of analyses. We will occasionally have guest interviewees and commentators too.

Called 'Temporal Discussion' because we're too lazy to think up a clever name for it, the first of the series will be available for download soon.

In the meantime, if you want a vague idea of how embarrassingly confused we sound as we try to figure out how to get Zoom to work properly, you can listen to a short trailer at https://anchor.fm/knightmarepod.

You can also keep up-to-date with the latest KM podcast knews by following the Twitter account - @KnightmarePod.

We're also looking for anybody who's had any involvement with the show who might want to come on and "guest host" a couple of episodes. I've spoken to a few people already, but if anybody else is interested at all then please get in touch via DM 🙂

We're still waiting for for word from Apple as to when the podcast will be available on their service, but in the meantime our first episode will be available on Google Podcasts, Spotify, Anchor and many other providers as of 4:00pm GMT tomorrow (October 9th) as planned.

I'm delighted there's now a dedicated Knightmare podcast. Can't believe the idea had never occurred to me, despite the show being featured in episodes of various other podcasts.

I really enjoyed the first episode - didn't entirely agree with every criticism, but most of it had me nodding and smiling. I'd never noticed the rude carving in the antechamber. ;D The episode title was inspired, too!

Looking forward to more. :)

Glad you enjoyed it. We welcome an alternative point of view, and I'd like to state again that any criticism that we aim at the show comes from a place of love and respect 🙂

If we all agreed on everything, the world would be a very dull place.

Cheers, Annie.

Treguard's "Oh dear, what a pity, never mind" always reminds me of Willy Wonka. Glad someone else had the same thought!

The trust betrayal part of the riddle is about grassing up an accomplice, isn't it? (I assumed "when common said" was a hint that the second meaning of grass is a slang term - it never occurred to me that it could also be alluding to a grassy common.)

I suppose that's possible, although it sounds a bit like you'd need to be Batman to figure out something that obscure.

Anyway, folks, in case you hadn't realised from the above, episode 2 is now available. It's also now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts.

Been awhile since I've stumbled here but will look forward to giving the podcast a listen. Still great to see the fire burning bright for Knightmare.

There have been far more ridiculous incarnations of Robin than that, my dear chap...

We just finished recording episode 5 (technically episode 6, because we've put a mid-season special in) with special guest Dave Bulmer from Sonic the Comic the Podcast.

It'll be a few weeks before it's available to listen to, in which time I've got to figure out how to edit nearly 3 hours of us going well off-topic into manageable podcast length ;D
