Blimey, that was going to go down to the wire! I'll take that as a reward for all the hard work - particularly last night and rush hour this morning (when I was surprised and delighted to see us pulling away again).

KM may not be a household name in the same way as many of the generation-spanning shows it's competing against (I believe Sooty holds the world record as the longest running UK kids TV show) but this is further proof (if any more was needed) that it's very much loved.

It would be a travesty if SMTV won this - maybe we can get the Sooty lot to help ;D

I think it's an even bigger travesty that Tom and Jerry was beaten by SM:tv :(

We've got to win this, for T&J, Knightmare, and the greater good!

Phew, that was one helluva fight!! Well done everyone - the dungeon salutes you! :D

Don't fancy our chances against Ant & Dec, who seem to have won every popular vote in the history of television, but I'm so happy we made it to the final (albeit by the skin of our teeth). :) Let's try and finish with a decent score at least. It really is a quest for truth and justice now!

Nice to see Challenge promoting the poll on their Facebook page earlier - I hope they will do it again for the final round. It appears the Dark Lord Sharp was unmoved by our plight, though. :P Can't see the Sooty camp doing us any favours either, they'll probably never forgive us!

Voting is open...

Knightmare has stormed into a healthy early lead, but still early days....

Only by voting for Knightmare can everyone ensure that it stays that way!

Let's try to win this one early! A huge lead will seem insurmoutable to any SMTV spammers so let's win the psychological battle asap :)

And then keep voting of course!

Kids' TV Champ - Radio Times vote

I've had a quick scout around.
Sm:Tv has a big Facebook page but it looks massively out of date.
Ant and Dec have an enormous Facebook following but, thus far, have not commented on the poll.

It therefore seems to me that our advantage is having coordinatable zealous fans.

In which case, a psychological effect will be very very powerful.

We're passionate and devoted fans, not chess pieces :D

We need to rally everyone and spread the word that the Final Encounter approaches! :green:

I am also hoping the Ant & Dec fans won't be quite as desperate for victory as the Sooty fans (staying up all night to vote, etc), because there's no actual benefit to them winning this. It's not like they need the publicity!

*giggle* When this is all over, whatever the outcome, we should definitely compose a Treguard-style recap of the various enemies we faced on our journey...

A poll is now in progress, so here's a progress report; -

Through websites dark, and vote-counts cold,
Kids TV looks out for its finest gold.
Against Teletubbies, Knightmare showed no fear.
Lose to Chip 'N' Dale? Not around here.

It brrrrrrrraved the gauntlet of Duck Tales.
And against Shaun T. Sheep, Knightmare never fails.
And while Looney Tunes put up quite a fight,
'Twas not long 'fore Knightmare put them to flight.

Then in the depths of semi-final tense,
Sooty and Sweep offered a mighty defence.
But by narrowest margin, Knightmare stood the test,
And on to the final, to prove it is best!

And now, Time Turns,
The Fire Burns...
The next poll is begun...
The vote-count is ON!

Sorry if that final virtual rhyme sounds a bit weak, I couldn't think of a suitable word that really rhymes with 'on'.

Hahahaha, I love it! ;D

And no worries about dodgy rhyming - it never bothered Treguard after all...

There must be a major SM:TV votespam on at the moment - Knightmare's percentage is plummeting by the second!
