Website problem

Post by PKB »

Hi.

Just a quick note, the Experiences section doesn't work. When I click on any of the links I am taken to a 404 Page Not Found error.

I can explain this. When they updated the site, some of the links stopped working and lots of people have been experiencing this problem. I think they're trying to fix it now.

Hi, Paul. Were you looking to see if your experiences were still the way you wrote them? ;) Other than the links directly underneath the 'Experiences' heading, all the links accessible via the Experiences page do seem to be working to me. As you might have seen from recent posts in the Announcements section, the website is known to be having some teething problems in its updated form and these will be remedied in due course.

Hopefully when the next CMS update takes place, we'll be able to eliminate the teething problems.

Then we can return to making problems of our own kind by reorganising the site and linking it to the forum :)

It looks like the considerable task of tidying up Knightmare.com's links has now been tackled and completed with aplomb. Congratulations to Keith and/or Alan for their hard work. Please step forward - boldly, how else? - and take a bow!

Website problem

'twas I.

Most (if not all) of the links should now be fixed. Some of the site is still a bit ugly, but I hope to rectify that soon, starting with the front page.

There's been a fairly hefty change to the front page, to make it a little more pleasant to look at.

The recent articles now have associated images with them.

Yes I've noticed that, looks good.

Like the Facebook icon in the top right corner, I've done a small bit of work myself so that the FB page can now be accessed via www.facebook.com/Knightmare.CITV should you wish to make any further adjustments.

While we're at it, is there any chance we could have a Twitter icon for www.twitter.com/Knightmare_CITV too?

I've banned it. I'll delete it in a bit once I've figured out how it managed to circumvent our spam filters.

Thank goodness! I thought the bot attacks on my other forum was terrible, but that was ridiculous! I think bots are getting clever nowadays.
