Well if you mean 'we' as in every member then that might be a little difficult with such huge numbers! There are already certain meet-up events that are arranged by KMDF groups, the KMRPG for one. Probably Kieran could explain more about that. Other than that there are a few socials that take place, it's just a matter of finding out when and where. Or if you want to arrange one then setting a venue and gathering people who are able to come.

I think people have tried to arrange a few of these before. I reckon we should make it a proper convention. It would cost a bit for entry, but I'm sure people wouldn't mind. Maybe BVA would know a little more on how to set up official KM conventions, or perhaps its crossed his mind before?

Right anyone know of a large padded cell that can be hired out for such an event? ;)

Conventions have been whispered around the community for as long as I can remember. With the new KM we may have the oppotunity of having one laid out for us, yet feel that we'd probably have to organise one ourselves.

It is costly, and would require a very large amount of people there to make it worthwhile.

Closest we come to that has to be the RPG filming.

How about we all meet up in the Castle of Doom for a bit of ruff and tumble with the challenges within.

I suppose it's someplace where people 'meet up' but I think the idea here is a meet-up in person. Meeting up in the Castle of Doom sounds like a pretty good idea to me ;)

I'd be serving high alchohol spirits in the corridor of blades. They'll have more than a hangover in the morning.

Not if you gave Snowwiewolf a T-E-L-E-P-O-R-T spell to use. ;)

Ok, I think we should ask a few things here if people are seriously considering a KM Convention.

Has anyone been to a convention before?

Does anyone know of any places willing to hold possibly even one hundred Knightmare *Geeks*? (no offence to anyone - that's the nickname amongst my friends for me and the KM community lol. Quite catchy, I think...)

If one was arranged, would people be willing to pay anything up into the region of £30 to attend?

Lastly, what would people *SERIOUSLY* want at the convention? A section for some Live Action KM roleplay? Viewings of recent aired KMRPGs? A bar area mocked up to look like The Crazed Heifer?

And of course, people WOULD come in costume, wouldn't they?

...thoughts, please?

I'd have to pay a bit more for ferry travel, but what's the plan how do we get to this convention?

As for costume I'd come as James Bond! ;D

Getting there depends on where it is of course and I would be willinmg to pay as long as it was "worth it."

I believe there are some "sci-fi fests" doing the rounds, could we try to do something with one of those?

Or if it is just a meeting your after, book some hall and tell us the date!

Costume, how about I come as a guest at a party...
Good night out there; whatever you are!
