Mistake in the Series 8 guide?

Post by Thanatos »

In the said guide, dungeoneer 5 of series 8 is called "Emma" throughout, but I distinctly remember her being called Rebecca, as which name she is referred to in a quotation from Majida in the aforementioned guide. Has someone made an error?

You're quite right Thanatos - I remember Rebecca being the dungeoneer and Emma being an advisor, I've been meaning to tell Nic about it but just forgot  ;D

I'll check their quest duration time as well - for a team that got into Level 2 I can't see the quest only lasting 11 minutes....

Okey-dokey:

Rebecca WAS the dungeoneer for that team and Emma (the one in the shock frock!  ;) ) was an advisor.

The quest lasted 23 minutes - 11 minutes (originally stated in the series guide) in the first part of their quest and then a further 12 minutes in the second part

Hope that's cleared up everything

Cheers  :)

I'll always remember that for the scream "Becca, walk backwards!" rather than "Emma!". :p

S5 Cast, tiny problem

Post by Kieran »

Elita  and  Pixie the Pixel was played by Stephanie Hesp

Pixel the Pixie, I believe.

Once I DID have a load of errors on things but I have forgotten them all.  I'll browse and see if I cna pick up on any other small errors so we can 'ave a perfect site :)

And don't forget to add that Michael Cule played Fatilla, or was it the barbarian, in S4.

Think it was Fatilla anyway, in light of new news from mr cule himself,

I hope Illusion doesn't mind us mentioning these. Apart from spelling things, I've noticed a couple:

In the S5 "teams" section, part of one description reads "Gwen gives them the password, and Gwen comes in to rescue Gwen." Methinks a little change needed there.

One I noticed in the Challenge? repeat tonight. It says in the S3 "teams" section that Team 2 "mistakenly" cast the DANCE spell on McGrew. Although it's a little picky, the mistake was seemingly not in casting the spell but instead in failing to dispel it when McGrew was shouting "I'll do anything" and such after feeling its effects. I suppose after dispelling he'd have given them the help they needed to survive the magic sword.

Again, hope you don't mind that. Just trying to help further improve the already brilliant descriptions. :)

I've noticed a mistake too (sorry, Illusion).  Series 5, Team 7 - Chris, who turned into the goblin, lol - it says "Gave Sly the honey and he runs off when hundreds of bees appear".  It was actually Skarkill this happened to.  I remember when it happened - I thought it was hilarious!  ;D

Thanks... these have all been noted. Please keep them coming. I don't know when I'll have time to correct them but it will all be done eventually.

If you have already mentioned faults with the series guides on the forums in the past or by e-mail, it will already be in the list to fix.

A few little errors

Post by Pooka »

God, I am so pedantic, but just a couple of errors I spotted, sorry for being insufferable and pointing these out!

Series 7 Powers That Be - According to 'Knightmare Top Trumps', Romahna's fighting corps is called the 'Airwan'. Um, not the air ones. Er... sorry, that was very pedantic.

Series 8 Home page - Amassed as in "amassed a huge amount of fire power" is all one word. Not "a massed".

I'll go away now...  :-[
