Yeah! I also liked Rothberry. There's a scene in series 8 when he's helping a team with the trapdoor to level 2. Hilarious!  ;D

I thought it was often the poor teams who provided the most comedy.

But for characters? I suppose I'll say Mrs. G. because I have to, but Sly and Gundrada were great fun too. I thought a lot of the Treguard/Majida banter was funny too. And Rothberry was a good laugh too- him trying to jump down the trapdoor is wonderful.

Same here!  ;D  His Lordship made me laugh the most in Series 7 (especially on Barry's quest, with that Shellphone thing and turning Lissard into Marta) and Sly Hands (like feet, up the other end of your body, yeah!) was hilarious too!  That bit where he jumped out of the mural and then proceeded to get drunk on ale (in Julie's quest in Series 7) made me laugh every time I watched it - is there any chance of putting that clip on the site?

Okay, I promise not to rant this time.

"Just stand still while i get me irons on you" - Scarkill
"Just wait here while i go and get me magic rope to take you to meet Lord Fear" - Sly Hands

Proof that Lord F needed better minions?!

Sly Hands & Snapper-Jack for me.

Now there's something I have always wounderd was Snapper-Jack actually one of Lord Fear's henchmen or was he a independent threat to quests?

Like Sly Hands in early S5.

Rothberry & Mildread for me. Both capable of being genuinely funny, whereas I often felt that other "comedy" scenes were aimed at children. Which is understandable, of course, given that it was a CITV programme!
If this were really happening, what would you think?

Lord Fear made me laugh, Mrs G made me giggle uncontrollably for two days once. Come to think of it, so did Lord Fear.

*nibs everyone and runs out of the room*

Mrs Grimwold...

"No, I shouldn't stand there if I were you dearie, because Festus is known to get playful with strangers... Mostly he likes to play with their livers..."

"He ought to be extinct, well he is really if you see what I mean..."

"He's got a terrible anger has Festus on the counter a fact that he's got two heads..."

"Quiet Festus, good boys... I have to call him boys dearie because he's got two heads and they do tend to get jealous of each other. Still he's a lovely pet, and he woulldn't hurt a lamb... Well, I'm not saying he wouldn't hurt him but then... the lamb wouldn't feel much anyway either...

I like the shurrap kind of voice she uses too...  ;D
If the only way is onward how would you get home for tea?? :-/
