First new Knightmare VR Test pic

Post by Illusion »

Image

This is the first VR test encounter scene for the new Knightmare format as provided by Tim Child.

It is in development and no decisions have been made about the dungeoneer's appearance, but they will probabably not show any hair.

Wow! Now I am getting excited!! But I have a small, almost insignificant suggestion for the helmet...Can we have horns?  ;D

Hey, it looks fantastic. I hadn't expected tests of any sort for a long time yet. :)

By the way, does that look like a knapsack the avatar (there, I used the word without quotation marks around it) is reaching for? Or is it just a weapon? Or something else entirely, I can't really see.

The horns are on the baddies helmet are they not?

Hmmmm

I doubt the real thing will look much like that anyway. It looks good....doesn't look like Knightmare but I'm sure it will in the end.

Do you mean avatar, dearie? ;)

I'm not all that worried about the helmet. (Oh dear, that's starting to sound awful). I'd rather let them get on with it, since they're kind enough to give us sneak previews of what they're planning. Of course, it's good to point out where we think things could be improved. I'd just like to let them get a little further on with things before taking issue with particulars. ;)

Is it just me, or is that dungeoneer actually Agatha from "Minority Report"?...

As long as the elf portals remain black and square - I'll be happy.

The new Knightmare, in a word, looks "Awesome".

I'm not too worried about the new series being fairly different from the old ones (each successive series did totally new things, after all) but it'd be nice to have a horned helmet. Also, bring back the original life force clock but based on the face of each dungeoneer so that it would be an image of their OWN face that would decay - that'd be great for building tension!

In any case, the reason I love Km is because of the enormous tension in it. The dungeoneer doesn't have to be blinded in order for tension to be built up, does it?

I REALLY hope a new series is commissioned!
