Well, that is what Radio Times seems to think.

Exciting times.

Very exciting indeed!

The rumour that Marco Polo has been found is the best bit for me, although I'm thrilled about the prospect of seeing Enemy of the World and Web of Fear as well.

But any old Who being recovered is good news (even if it turns out to be only The Space Pirates. lol!).

We will soon find out. The press embargo will be lifted at midnight tonight.

Indeed I have heard Marco Polo, Web of Fear and Enemy of the World are amongst the supposed finds.

Fascinating.

My girlfriend writes journalism about this sort of stuff, so if she gets a press release, I'll let you know!

It's a news story that often comes up.
If it's true,, it's good timing don't you think?

I'm so excited ! :D The Radio Times seems to think that the releases are Patrick Troughton stories. Whilst I love Troughton's Doctor, I can't help but keep hoping that the rumours of the discovery of Marco Polo are true.

The Daily Mirror reports that "dozens" of episodes have been found! Somehow I am sceptical about this ! ;D

The rumour has been going around since earlier on this year; around June, as far as I can remember.

Hypothesis is, they've been keeping it secret until nearer the 50th, but who knows how true it is (or even if it's true at all :/)

Apparently the BBC have now confirmed that "a number of early episodes" have been found :D

I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but Ian Levine (major Whovian and rescuer of a large number of episodes himself) is claiming that nine episodes have been found. The popular rumour is that the episodes are from The Enemy of the World (the full story!) and all the episodes bar one of The Web of Fear.

The press conference has been delayed until later in the week. Can't wait to see what is announced ! :)

It's certainly been a roller coaster ride in Who-fandom over the last 24 hours!

I've been following it all on multiple forums, plus the Levine rants on Twitter/FB; it's all been quite fascinating!

Can't wait to find out exactly what's been returned :D

Isn't it wonderful news! :D I'm hanging on for the DVD - can't wait !

Web of Fear looks promising too - and from the clips I've seen the restoration team have done a superb job. :)

It is indeed wonderful :D

The quality is fantastic; although I've only nth generation Loose Cannon recons to compare them to!

It has been a very exciting time indeed. The two returned stories are excellent, and I never thought we'd see them.

Folk say there is more to come. But let's be happy with this haul before we jump that gun ;)
