Janet Lock: goblin and mireman

We appear to finally have an answer to that question! Janet Lock has posted on the Knightmare Facebook page: "Great news. I worked from 1989 to 1994 as a Goblin, Mireman etc. I was so lucky to be part of the Knightmare team." Wonder if she was Grippa or Rhark?!

Worth asking for an interview?

I thought the producers used extras to play the goblins. Yeah an interview sounds like a good idea.

An interview with a goblin (sounds like a film title...) could be very interesting, I hope someone asks her!

There is meant to be a film coming out soon called 'Dance of the goblins' (I think that is the name!) Fan's of Dragon's Den might know what I'm talking about!

Yeah that would be cool. Would be interesting to hear about Knightmare from a goblin's point of view!

Janet was at the convention on the Sunday, wearing a Knightmare sweater, accompanied by - by her own admission - her somewhat bemused husband!

She was a true gem! So lively and very very friendly.

Gems and goblins don't always go together, as a certain Series 3 team found to their cost...

That is very true. Still, one of my better memories from the con, if only because she caused a mild 'Oh my word, really?' reaction from me. I'm pretty proud that I didn't do my usual thing of freezing up and going all shy.
