This week on Challenge?

Post by Mr_Festus »

Hi all,

This morning we are seeing Series 3 for a third time.... what does this mean? Definately good news I think, and looked ahead on the schedule and I see Knightmare is on at 6pm this week.... a prime time slot for tv.... so I guess Series 3 is being repeated due to the success of its second showing?

Cheeeeeeeeeeers

I think Series 3 is being shown again because Challenge havent made a decision on Series 5, which is good news... It also gives me a chance to record Series 3  ;D

Thanks for the replies folks :)

I am just taping every episode thats on just now as I am sure I will have missed one or two out... and sometime I plan to look through all the recordings... see which ones I have missed out... and then make a tape of Series 3 etc.... and put them all in order on that.

I think Series 4 will probably be shown again. Knightmare is such a fantastic programme... ahh the memories of Friday afternoons! I think Knightmare and Family Guy are my fav programmes ever.... I think anyway! lol yeah probably!

Cheers y'all ;)

That's probably the reason why I can't remember ever hearing about it. What was it all about though then?

Family Guy is great  ;D

So bloody funny! Its been ditched because it just got too erm offensive I think. Season 3 is just crazy! Its pure madness and so bad! You really need to see it! Go out and buy them!

Anyway... yes Knightmare is ace to ;)

Yes, but what is it? and what's it about? I'm not quite sure if I've heard of it or not. Is it recent or was it shown years ago. I don't watch much tele nowadays either.

Just looking through the Challenge schedules and something I didn't know was that Knightmare was on at 5.00 this morning, not that I was going to be up then at that time anyway though. Also what I can't work out is that why is there a Takeshis omnibus on Sundays at 6pm then another one on Monday Mornings at 12.40am as if one's not bad enough but two! ??? :'(. I am quite sure that Challenge is trying to wear it out! I think that by the time they get arround to one hour slots most of Takeshis viewers will be so fed up by then and desperately begging for more series of Knightmare just so that they could see something else instead. Also does anyone know what will be happening to the Knightmare slot if Takeshis Castle is changed to one hour? Will they change it, stop showing it or keep it to the same time with Takeshis Castle on 6.30-7.30pm. Personally I hope that they change the Knightmare slot to 7pm! or at least 6.30pm.

Well, TC is their biggest audience draw and there are many episodes of it (I think) so it makes sense that they want to show as much of it as they can.
Subject to change.

Hiya,

Family Guy is a cross over between the Simpsons and South Park. They showed it at a stupid time on SKY ONE and FOX and I think thats part of the reason why it did not get the ratings, as most of the humour is dirty and was cut.

Its a very adult show and you have to have an open mind to appreciate its humour. It takes the miccy out of everything!

Trying to stay on Knightmare topic here... erm... can't remember the name of the character... was it Sidrisss? blonde hair... Hordiss daughter maybe... I remember thinking she was fit! Must see if there is many pics of her on the site!

Cheeeeeeeeeeeers :)

the Takeshis omnibus on monday mornings is a repeat of sundays omnibus which is all the weekday showings (monday-saturday) all at once.. which get a repeat during the evening of that day anyway.
So each TC ep gets about 4 showings a week.

Family guy was nothing like the simpsons or south park
and the humour wasnt at all at best. after all Sky one use to air if during the middle afternoon or early evening (6pm)

And Sidrisss i believe is the one your speaking of.  don't remember her all that well

I guess its down to personal tastes... some would say Takeshi's Castle is the best programme... while we would disagree and say Knightmare...

Family Guy is a cross over between the Simpsons and Southpark. If you read reviews, even the dvd have it in quotes. Seth McFarlane the creator is a massive fan of the Simpsons, and its kind of his own spin off of it, just more adult. I am a massive fan of the programme and have read up on alot of it, and its always described as a cross over between the Simpsons and Southpark.

As I am very biast towards the programme, I could be one to disagree but I think its correct. Very Simpsons, just more adult. You just need to look at the characters. However, I am sure there is Simpsons fans that would hate to have Family Guy compared to the long running cartoon, and thats fair enough.

Cheeeeers
