Unintended Knightmare references in our lives

So has anyone seem anything else that had reminded them of KM? Not just TV, books, comics etc but just people, places, objects that have suddenly reminded you of something in KM.

I once saw a toy set which was called 'Knightmare'. It has plastic swords, shields, armour etc, and the writing was very similar to the original Knightmare logo.

Certainly caught my attention!

Seen on a tube advert over the weekend (you might need to read it thoroughly in order to pick out the reference):

I was just driving home along the motorway, and I was stuck for a couple of miles behind a lorry marked "Bartrum's Commodities". Hmmmm....

I was watching some movies with my friends recently. In Sweeney Todd's first gruesome throat-cutting scene, one of my friends - an ex-KM fan - whispered, "Nightmare." I responded with, "Oooooooh, nasty." At which another friend laughed.

The term 'ex-KM fan' causes me some concern.

Anyway, I was pleased to learn that a member of this forum paid a visit to the town of Garstang recently, and hope that they got the reference. ;)

It always amuses me that when I type "Challenge" into the Google search box, its first suggestion is "challenge accepted", which I automatically hear in Cedric's voice! ;D

Apart from the modern road surfaces, this part of Studland in Dorset reminds me of the bit in the gamebook 'The Future King' where you leave the village and the path forks at a stone cross. :P

Also, the other week I was at Lorton Meadows near Weymouth, and there was an old WW2 bunker in the middle of a wood, and I could totally picture an Eyeshield sequence going down the steps as a way back into the dungeon from the Forest of Dun or something. :P

Does anyone else find themselves thinking "This looks like something out of Knightmare" when they're out and about, or is it just me?!

Advertising in south Manchester for the Football Museum uses a slogan that sounds vaguely familiar.

Recently came across this excellent video of someone riding a wooden dragon - reminds me of another certain "green" dragon:

When playing the live experience of the crystal maze in London, and playing the "guide the person through the maze of laser barriers they can't see" game, someone said "Sidestep to the left", to which the response of our games master was "no killing people in my dungeon" :D

If your games master was a certain Mr Flannery then it would have certainly been an intended Knightmare reference instead ;)
