Has the rod been recharged? You know what these things are like - you've got a Red Death to get rid of and the dratted thing won't fire. Then you give it a shake and shoot yourself in the foot.

Hey, maybe it'd make a good present for Sly Hands (or someone equally stupid).

A very good point my friend! This calls for a change in tactics. *and whacks Skarkill in the head with the rod instead* I call it pre-emptive self-defence.

I'll tell you what always puzzaled me about Knightmare.

How did Ariandne's Lair keep shifting.

I meen if one lair was destroyed in a phase shift then surely Ariadne was as well.

Hmm, perhaps they brought out Ariadne mk. 2,3,4 etc. and just let on that it was the same spider (after all, I'm sure no-one looked too closely at her!)

How on Earth do the Powers That Be afford the ransom to get back defeated dungeoneers when they lose 9 out of 10 of them?

Right, I believe that's me 3, Skarkers nil. I can see why that scumpot Cedric liked quarterstaffs so much...

And I want to know how the hell I'm supposed to tell a Bloodstone from a Firestone, since they're the same bloody stone! Same goes for an Elfstone and an Arkenstone. Do you need to be a jewller or what?

They only had to pay ransomes for Dungeoneers who were caught NOT killed.

So they would have had to pay for:

Richard S5: (HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE.........LOVELY.)

January S6: (Good Old Sly gets one at last.)

That's true... So, you personally had a capture rate of one. Can't imagine old Lord F was too happy about that! Better sack Grippa and his chums.

The dungeoneers in the last couple of series were usually younger as well, so you'd think they'd be easier to catch. You just can't get the staff these days, as I believe the evil one himself said.

Ah well - back to the Tree House I suppose. Night-night everyone. :)

I always thought that it was daft that the dungeoneer didn't just use the eye-shield right the way through. It would have made things so much easier...

I imagine there was a destruct key on the computer that allowed BVA to trigger every slab on the causeway the moment they tried it.
