Re: Were they that bad?

This is an interesting discussion! If we go back to the books, Dunshelm/Knightmare Castle is Treguard's birthright anyway. In wresting his castle back from the Gruagach and inheriting the dungeon in the process, he wasn't stealing, just reclaiming what was supposed to be his anyway. Also, in Can You...

Re: Mark Knight revealed

Very interesting, thanks for the info and link! :)

I wouldn't have recognised him from the picture, but once I heard the voice there was no doubting it!

I too hope for the return of Lord Fear someday...

Re: Knightmare Top Trumps Revisited

I would have LOVED there to have been some Knightmare Top Trumps. I was a big Top Trumps fan had loads of sets. They did do a fantasy set, which included a Dragon, Goblin, Knight etc. But a Knightmare set would have been the icing on the cake! Can anyone post pics of the KM Top Trumps made by red_fr...

Re: My Knightmare Dream

I've had a few dreams about Knightmare as well. Usually being chased by one or more characters. I had several dreams about being chased by the 'Mindless Mechanical Warrior', and they always woke me up with a start. I also had a dream about leaving my living room, but my hallway was now the Corridor ...

Did Lord Fear and Treguard secretly enjoy playing Squash together?

Re:Best/Worst Improvisers?

Interesting question!

I would have to agre and say that Mark Knight and Michael Clue were the best and improvising.

I would also have to agree that Iona Kenneday and Juliet Henry-Massey were among the worst.

I never really liked the Gwendoline character much anyway.

Re:What if a wall monster did eat a dungeoneer?

Hi all! Part of me would have liked to have seen a Dungeoneer get eaten by a Wall Monster. I remember in series 4 (I think!) Chris got eaten by a Blocker for not having the correct password. Maybe it would have looked something liked that. I doubt they would have animated an eating scene. Though, it...

Re:Lord Fear - Rupert D'Armitage?

Hello - first post back in a while! :D Interesting theory, but I wouldn't say that this was the case. Rupert would indeed be older, and of higher rank having gone from being a Sergent to a Templar. I think the writing in the scenes between Treguard and D'Armitage in The Sorcer's Isle is fantastic. B...

Re:Merlin and Hordriss

Looking back, its also a shame that considering the Arthurian current that runs through Knightmare that Merlin wasn't more of a powerful and serious character. With no disrespect to that opinion, I feel differently. I always considered Merlin to be highly powerful: the way he would appear out of th...

Retro Gamer magazine

A recent issue of Retro Gamer magazine had a feature on Atic Atac. The heading is Atic Atac: A Knightmare Of A Game. However, the article doesn't mention Knightmare once , even though it was one of the main inspirations (along with Knight Lore) for Knightmare. :o Also, the WWE have a charater called...
