Re: Series 8 Team 4

The other item was a jar of Brain Pills.  The scroll read "Warning.  Dangerous to those who are not dim".  The team took this to mean that the Pills would harm them because they were clever people.  So they took the Stinkwart. It wasn't part of the ingredients needed for the FILLET spell.  The only ...

Gunrada dropping her sword at end bit of Series 4.

Honesty Bartram's "Nice doing business with you, don't tell yer dad" line.

And Stiletta's helmet line that everyone missed.  It's in my sig.

Re: The warrior maiden

Natasha Pope most probably.  She's the only female who appears in "The Players" section of the credits apart from Zoe Loftin (Mellisandre).

Today's riddles (13/7/03)

That was the most confusing thing ever.  The first one about Uther Pendragon's daughter was Arthur.  But the other two are really tough.  Anyone know the answers?

Merlin gave them a SPRINT spell or did he?

Re: i hid behind the sofa today

KM hasn't caused me to rush out the room since 1991.

Anyway the Series 6 ending was scary.  The dragon in flight and Treguard/Pickle's urging the team to hurry was incredibly tense.

Nothing beat the sheer horror of finding out Mrs G was actually a man though.

Re: Does anyone know?

The Series 8 ending was disappointing.  Dunstan and company finished with half an episode remaining leaving hardly any time for a "proper" ending.

It was due to Virtually Impossible starting the eighth series was shorter.  After 5 minutes of VI I was bored.

Re: Favourite quote from Series 3

Festus has become a lot more playful recently. Especially with people's livers.  (Mrs G)

Av' you seen Festus dearie?  Of course not, you wouldn't be 'ere if you 'ad. (Mrs G)

Re: Mrs. Grimwold

Yes.  Mrs G is one of the bad inhabitants of the dungeon.  Later escapades include trying to swap a map for a vital object and the classic revelation that she's actually a man.  Ooh nasty!

Wait a minute, did I imagine that one?

Re: Tim Child interview

Why were there very few teams from Scotland on KM?

Why did some dungeoneers require only 1 item to get through a level when others needed the correct two or they would die?

(I'm thinking the guy who had a bottle at the end of Level 1 left.)

Re: Series 4 Episode 6

My favourite was "You can bet your life on it.  After all others do". I thought it was a fairly slow episode with no life threatening situations whatsoever.  19 minutes was on the clock and not much had happened.  At that point in Series 3 they would have been almost blown up, chased by a few goblin...

Re: series 6 team 2..so unfair

Maybe they were supposed to get help from the witch by giving her the gold bar.  It's sort of amber coloured.

Re: when did u all start watching knighmare

I definitely saw some of Series 2 including a winning quest!  I think it was the one where they rescued a lady.  My memory is a bit dim as I was only 6.  And I kept switching it over because it was too scary. Series 3 I couldn't remember anything about so I was watching the Challenge? repeats withou...

Re: Knightmare related

On The Bill this week they had a callout to 53 Myatt Street.

It might have been near Nordgate Avenue and Knight Lane.

And the word POOKA is admissable on Countdown.  Just thought I'd throw that in.

Re: What did team 4 in series 8 do wrong?

That particular episode had Majida ask Treguard what the Stinkwort did at the end.  He replied that he doesn't think it does anything.  Majida then asked if they had picked the wrong object to which Treguard taps his nose in a secretive manner. The team encountered Sidriss who was being questioned b...
