Re: Time Gate

Just seen the trailer. Well, in one way it's very different - instead of Treguard, we have a mad professor-type person! Hehehe...Also, the red-haired girl in the trailer was pretty cute (and I think that deserves a slap on the face for stereotypical maleness... :) ) And did the voice-over going on d...

Re: Series 5

Series 5 was the series that, IMHO, came the closest to making the Knightmare world seem like a true world rather than a Dungeon in the first few series, or the connected areas of Series 6-7. We only saw Level 3 twice, but they were two very different versions of Level 3 - one was in Winteria, of co...

Re: Series 6

My favourite reason for Season 6 is it was, if I remember rightly, the season when they introduced THAT incidental music. The one used for Causeways, Trial by Spikes, etc. A really simple piece of music with just a couple of notes, but it changed those moments from merely tense to gut-wrenchingly "O...

Re: The Goblins

Yeah - not even "Ooooh...nasty...." was enough for this one - he had to really emphasize the horror with "Oh...oh that IS nasty!"

Re: did ya see it?

Hehehe...well, I had it on tape already, so the ep itself didn't have many suprises for me. But there was the bit with Tim Child and Hugo Myatt just before it too, so all in all, well worth tuning in! :)

Re: That riddle...

I believe, if I remember correctly, that Brangwen's first riddle went something like this:

"If my body is as yours, and my heart be a fluttering bird, what is its prison?"

The answer is "ribcage".

If I remember wrong, I apologise. :)

Re: U kno sum1's been messing w. the dungeons when

You hear any of the following: Folly - "Y'alright, me ol' mucka?" Greystagg - "My sisters, we have gathered all the Amber we require. Now let the dinosaur cloning begin!" Mogdred - "Quail intruder. Look upon the schedule of CITV for the late 90s and quail..." Fear - "My Pool is playing up again. Dam...

Re: Best Series

My fave is Series 3, for all the reasons in the Series 3 thread and more.

Least favourite is Series 8. The Level 1 was pretty bland and all the same, and we'd thoroughly explored Level 2 in Series 7.

Re: Pick up lines...

Just my humble opinion, but I think that a certain Series 1-2 jester had the best pick-up line. "Before you stands (and dances too) the Fool of all the world! Folly is my name, and Folly is my nature. Confusion is my character and Fun my alma mater!" OK, more of a pick up paragraph, but that's a mem...

Series 3 End of Season page

Hi Nic. I was just checking out the Series 3 pages (getting ready for the Challenge repeats!), and the End of Season page seems to be coming up wrong on my browser. I keep getting a page headed "Christmas Dinner 2002" instead. I'm not sure if it's just my computer or not, though...(knowing my histor...

Re: Series 3

Series 3, my favourite! Best bits: Morghanna - a sexy evil chick who also happens to be the only evil character with a 100% kill record! And the games she played with poor Martin before finally sending him packing with Unnatural Head Explosion Suyndrome was one of my personaly favourite parts of Kni...

*When Sylvester Hands appears in a clean, ironed tuxedo and greets you with "Hail to thee, young sir/ma'am! How may I be of service to you?" *When a Gargoyle whistles the tune to "What a Wonderful Morning" *When Lord Fear gains an intelligent and competant assistant. *When the face in the Life Force...

Re: Opinions wanted...

I say Mogdred. I liked Fear, but I always prefer the truly sinister and dark villains, especially when their mindsets and motives are hard to understand. (Fear was evil because he was power-obssessed, which is sadly all too understandable to us humans...) Besides, I'm Lord Wraith, so I don't have to...
