I agree with Billy that it's all possible that KM would end up that way. I think we'd still have these forums, to grumble about "how KM isn't what it once was"!! But yes, Tim Child probably would have put up a bloody good fight before it got to that kind of level...unless it got done well?...

That's why new characters are introduced - the same people for eight series would have got boring, and probably wouldn't have allowed the series to carry on as long!
