Knightmare: RESURRECTION

Post by JamesA »

Hello everyone,

First of all, an apology for setting up another member account (I have noted some of the comments already made about it on the forum).

Now, back to business. This year marks the 10th anniversary since the last series of Knightmare, and as some of form of indication, I am writing a fan fiction explaining what might have happened 10 years after the last dungeoneer set foot in the dungeon. The title of the fic is Knightmare: Resurrection and can be found at:

http://knightmare-resurrection.moonfruit.com

The fic will be split into 15 parts, one part made available each Friday starting from this week, to try and give it that true Knightmare feel! I'll let people know here when is each part has been made available for public viewing.

Your comments, as always, will be much appreciated.
Enjoy!

Welcome back to the Forum. It seems a long time since the days of Zagor! You may find this discussion of interest: http://www.talkknightmare.co.uk/yabbse/ ... 4#msg20494 ;D

It's been a long time since I've read a Knightmare fanfic, and even longer since I've written one - it should be great to watch this one unfold. I'm especially looking forward to seeing how the RPG characters are used. The recently-opened fanart forum, http://kmfanartfic.proboards23.com , is another place where you can discuss your fanfic.

Whatever feedback you get, I hope you enjoy writing it!

I look forward to reading more! Interesting that you have used the Treguard/Kully/Frégo setup. I await the revelation of the dark figure! :)

As soon as I finish reading one chapter, I'm ready for the next one!

Including a range of RPG characters is a good way to give people a glimpse of just what the RPG has in store... And mixing them with familiar Knightmare characters adds interest too.

If you decide to use any of my RPG characters, let me know, and I can help you out with making sure that what they say and do is authentic! And I hope that your own character is on his way...

Yes, same for me and I guess same for anyone else who has their character in there, would be delighted to aid the reality of the characters.

The thick plottens! Er, I mean... the plot thickens! ;)

Great to see such a range of new characters making appearances. All well-characterised by their differing responses to the resurrection. The picture startled me a bit when the page loaded... but I like the opening scene! I'm intrigued to see how the established Knightmare characters react to the various newcomers...

Am enjoying this a lot!

You have made good characterisations here, akin to the real Knightmare characters and our RPG characters. You must have watched us closer than I thought! :)

Part 5 is now online.

Does the excitement continue? This is the shortest part of the fanfic, and admittedly where I suffered from a bit of writer's block....

This is great - I love the inclusion of the RPG characters and the Jeremy is just too cool!
