Unintended Knightmare references in the news

Post by Drassil »

The new owner of EMI has been getting a lot of mentions in the press. His name is Guy Hands.

As happens sometimes, I'm reminded of Knightmare by the prominence of a K.M. in the news at the moment.

I once met a girl with the initials KM. In fact, my sister has those initials, but she's not the person I'm thinking of. She is now, though.

In yesterday's Sun newspaper, there was an interview with Creation Records founder Alan McGee, who at one point states that he was on "a continuous bender from 1987 until 1994"....

You're not alone there, pal.

My first thought upon seeing this story was "How did the boat stay afloat with all that silver on board?" ;D

I recently came across this article from a couple of months ago regarding a Twitter rant made by cricketer Kevin Pietersen.

No need to guess what the headline is.

If only the actor/stuntman who appeared in the Knightmare pilot had been called Richard Bonecarpark rather than Richard Bonehill then we'd have another unintended Knightmare reference for the annals now. ;)

You know you're obsessed with Knightmare when you see the news headline "Blair to Miliband: Don't move left" and immediately get a mental image of the Block & Tackle!
