Face Screensaver?

Post by Whiteknight »

We have a lot of goodies on this site for the PC (desktops etc).  Having just watched today's episode on Challenge though I thought of a great idea (if anyone is good at creating it).  The end credits ran through the entire original 'face' lifeforce system and I thought that it would make the coolest screensaver for a PC at high quality.  Anyone agree?

if running windows XP it is possible to create your own screensaver by going to:

Control Panel -> Display -> Screensaver Tab

Then select the option "My Pictures Slideshow"..
you can put as many images in there as you wish...

if people would like a better quality screensaver with better options (eg nightmare theme tune) then i would be willing to make one once ive found a suitable program and high enough quality images 8)

How about Mrs G wallpaper?  Or an "Ooh nasty" clip for when your computer has errors?
You remind me of all the other men I've met in my life. All helmet and no brains.

I think...

Life Force Screensaver - run through all three of them! Then goes back to the beginning.

Wallpaper - the Opposition

Computer errors: "Oooooh NASTY!"

When you turn the computer on - "Oh ALLO Dearie!!!"

When it aks if you really want to delete certain files: "This is a magic horn"

Shut down: "Bah! They've GONE!"
"The alarm, Master! The opposition's tracked them! Oh good grief...look - Lord Fear's frozen Christopher!"

LOL. Pity they're always so careful not to do a close up of Mrs. G.

A full screensaver of the original life force with high quality images would be absolutely fantastic. :)

But getting those pictures would mean pressing the 'Print Screen' button at mega-knackering speeds...

Windoze would probably grind to a hard-disc gobbling halt.   :(

Great ideas for the sound scheme, Emii - I think I'll stick with "Rise from your grave!" for now, though...

Hey malefact do you think you could get the screen saver running on your Acorn, or would the hard drive grind to a halt.  Just kidding, of course not, the 24MB memory would fill up first
