Knightmare in Micro Mart
Posted: 16 Sep 2006, 17:58
This is an absolute must-read for everyone here. In the latest issue of Micro Mart (issue 919, 14-20 September 2006), there is a four-page article about how technology has influenced and changed quiz shows.
Knightmare is discussed, including the general premise of the programme, Mary Whitehouse's criticism, and even this website - Illusion gets a namecheck! The technology used in the making of Knightmare is explored and described, accompanied by a photo of a dungeoneer in a blue studio, and a painting by David Rowe.
Also mentioned is Tim Child's company, Televirtual. The article mentions The Satellite Game, Cyberzone, and Virtually Impossible, as well as other Broadsword/Televirtual projects.
It is an incredibly interesting article, and being the nice guy that I am, I have scanned it in for everyone to read. I hope you enjoy!
