"hmsph...hhmhmhm.h..HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Some of the older episodes have been removed to make room...!
Cheers Leggy.

Those of you who missed earlier episodes, I've been mirroring the files here:

http://www.furry.co.uk/km/Series4/

Please note that I've renamed the episodes to get rid of the spaces in the filenames, but they are still Leggy's avis - he's doing the hard work, I'm just providing the files. ;-)

Leggy - if you want me to stick your Leggy1210 bit back in the filename, let me know.

I loved seeing that again! The fact that it happened so quickly and that the Andrew in the red shirt could clearly see that the gap was on the left were what made it funny for me! All together now "Simon! Side-step to your left!" DONG!! Hehehe - absolute class!  ;D

I quite like the new team, but they don't last very long...so we don't have long until we see D-i-c-k-on and his friends!

;D i cant believe how stupid they were!! I mean if they dont know their left from their right, why the hell did they apply in the 1st place! LMAO!!
They had troubles with their left and right earlier in the quest as well..... LOL :D

The funniest bit was the room previous; where the adviser made the same mistake. "Simon, sidestep to your left" - the rest of the team look at him oddly, "umm, yes, I meant to guide him round that way."

I think he genuinely DID mean to guide him round the chair that way, actually ;-) No excuses for him getting it wrong in the block and tackle room, but previously in the quest you can see him actually try to position himself the same way around as the advisor to get the left/right correct before he says it. ;-)

I'm going to start a thread on the subject of forced vs. un-forced deaths, I think.

I couldn't stop laughing at Treguard and Pickle - Pickle had slapped his hand over his mouth to stop himself from corpsing, and Treguard was just O.o
"Ooooooo...Kaaaaaaaaaay...."

LOL!  ;D

Nah, I watched it several times - he didn't mean to go that way.

Fantastic stuff for providing another mirror! Many thanks...  :)

Space was becoming a bit of an issue!

I'm not too bothered about the filenames, "leggy1210" was only added as a seal of quality  ;D

*sigh*

the memories :)

the advisor in the middle at least new his left from his right...he should have done the guiding.

am i alone in thinking that they should split these jobs between advisors and not quibble about it during the show..

spellcaster
logger (passwords, causeways, hints/clues)
guider

obviously they put their heads together for questions, riddles...etc but if they all specialised at a job there would be less confusion and more direct action me-thinks.
i mean obviously if the other two advisors spot a pie or something on the floor that the guider missed then they should tell the guider about it so he can get the dungeoneer their...etc

you get me?

Yup, that sounds like a good way of organising it. It would have been good to make the advisor's decisions final as well; that way, Nicki's team in series 4 could have avoided their Aardvark problems  :P

Most teams seem to do this (with varying success) anyway: certainly a previous team had one advisor saying to the spellcaster "do spellcasting run - quickly!" (to escape from ariadne).  They all scribble down clues, although for some teams some of the advisors are more observant than others...  And usually it's only one person guiding, to save the problems team 2 had with everyone shouting at once ;-)

Except for the medusa in series 2, where they had to take turns to guide...

Heh, NOTHING stopped me from watching that last night...

Hark, and listen to the old skull rattle his jaw, in this tale of TV, Dogs, and a UBER fast shopping moment.

'It was 15 minutes to 6, and the Hell-hound dogs were a-squeaking to be allowed to relieve themselves. Being my 'job' at home, I took them out, edgy about missing Knightmare. After all 3 were done, I finally got back in properly at 5:53. I floated to the nearest chair, preparing to watch the greater game, when I'm asked to go to the shop briefly. AAAARGH. So I do - Breaking every goddamned speed record possible to make a 10 minute trip fit into a 2 minute jog there and back. And I do - nearly dying of exhaustion as I get back in, and turn the TV back to the right channel, barely making the start of the beginning credits. Ten minutes later, Me and my mum laughed ourselves stupid, as 'Simon' and his advisors had a lapse of directional sense, and were sent plunging into the depths of the pit at Block and Tackle...It was worth all the hassle.  ;)'

It's a true story, too.  :-/
