Oops, sorry... :-[

I was meant to say, why can't there be other contestants in it and not just the Japanese... :)

Because it's made in Japan. It's an awful long way for other people to travel just to play in a glorified adventure playground. If anyone from elsewhere had gone to all the effort of getting there and applying, I'm sure they'd have been allowed in, I just doubt anyone tried.

This is like asking, "Why is it only people from the British Isles ever appeared in Knightmare and no one from anywhere else?"

The problem is that there are only a limited number of episodes. Showing a batch of them in one day would mean that a series you shelled out a lot for would be more or less finished - money for something that would be shown over a couple of weeks at least would instead be blown in a single day.

Exactly, Mal. The only way for Challenge to fill the schedules for the rest of the week is to shell out money for more episodes... and as we said before, people will start getting bored if Knightmare is on ALL the time.

But I don't have Challenage so a KM day would mean my friend could easily record them for me! I don't want to ask her to record KM every day!

Well that depends, Tomyboy. A KM day would tie up your friend's VCR all day, whereas one ep every 24 hours would only tie it up for 20-odd minutes per day.

I hadn't thought of that! Thanks! When is KM ep 1 on?

If it's series 1 you mean it's on not Monday next week but *looks at calender* Monday 7th June at 7.30pm.
