THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE

Series 3 of Knightmare is being repeated on Challenge from Sunday 28th August at 9am.

To reward you for the early start, you'll get two episodes back to back.

Knightmare's third series was first shown on Children's ITV in 1989. It comprised twelve quests across sixteen episodes. For a large percentage of fans, it's the best of the best. At times like this, a seasoned fan who remembers the outcome of every quest might envy a watcher who doesn't: as Motley the jester says in one episode, "Get ready for the ride of your life!"

If there is anyone in your life whom you want to make into a Knightmare fan - son, daughter, nephew, niece, workmate, partner, cat - Series 3 is the series that might just do it. To whet your appetites, here's the rather good trailer Challenge put together for its repeats of Series 3 last year (so the date and time given there are now falsehoods).

Challenge currently has the rights for Series 1-4. According to its Facebook page, the later series (5-8, the Lord Fear era) are 'TBC at the moment, we'll keep you updated when we know more'.

Challenge TV is on Sky channel 145, Freeview 46, Freesat 145 and Virgin 139. Not forgetting Challenge +1 on Sky 164, Freesat 146 and Virgin 180, if opening your eyes before 10am on a Sunday is a quest too far.

So there you have it. There is such a thing as good news in 2016 after all.
