Treguard on a Series 5 team who were helped and let off a whole bunch of times!
Original lyrics and video.
***
Our latest team of four seemed bold and bright when they began
But we spell out the clues and they don't seem to understand
They B-A-G a skull that's F-L-O-A-T-I-N-G
But they heard the flying gob just now, and they almost left it be
So D-I-S-M-I-S-S, is all I have to say
Me and Pickle (E-L-F) will now send you away
I'd love to say your quest has been an F-U-double-L success
Oh but it's a total flop, so D-I-S-M-I-S-S
For some while, they think and dither on this gift causeway
And they think S-I-R H-U-G-H came just to play
I spell out all they have to do, and shake my head when they're dense
It's time to spell away this team that's flippin' got no sense
So D-I-S-M-I-S-S, is all I have to say
Me and Pickle (E-L-F) will now send you away
I'd love to say your quest has been an F-U-double-L success
Oh but it's a total flop, so D-I-S-M-I-S...S.

In my experience, the song parodies which focus on one aspect of Knightmare throughout are the most satisfying to write, and I enjoyed seeing you succeed here. Despite being familiar with the original song, and even parodying a parody of it, I don't think I'd ever actually listened to it before, so thank you for that too.

Cheers! I was surprised to find this hadn't already been done, as it seemed both obvious and familiar - perhaps I vaguely remembered seeing the one you linked to. Took me a while to think of something that would fit, but I quite like how it turned out! Amusingly, your parody now seems like a response to mine.
