So, I've gone from 'perfect' to 'sad' within a few posts. Oh well, that's life.   ;)
Let's compromise. You're perfectly sad. How does that sound?  ;)

And no, Skarkill, I'm afraid it's not a spoonerism you've got there, it's just a rhyme. Sorry 'bout that.

Could a spoonerism be something like this:

What is the difference between an Majida and an elf?

One is annoying, loud mouthed and insulting and the other is Elita!

Or is this something completely different?

I don't know if one like that one or a similar one has been used in another thread before by someone else. Sorry to the person if it has!

No that's not a spoonerism either. Although it might be classed as a satirical riddle, so I might include it.

It was worth a try though. I am never any good at them sorts of things though. Drassil in the mean time seems to be a natural when it comes to the old jokes, spoonerisms, etc. His jokes make me laugh :D.

Whoops!  :o

Me definately got the wrong type of riddle!

Apologies for the triple post thread hi-jack, I kept on remembering during each lecture break..... Shoulda just started a thread of me own. :-[  Sorrrreeeeee.

For those who may have tried the riddles at the top of the thread answers are:-

1) Steam Train (Like cars often refered to as 'horseless carraiges')

2) Helicopter (Rotors instead of wings and first designed by Leonardo da Vinci but only built in modern times.)

3) Bermuda TRIANGLE   ***insert groan here***

I'll try and get the 'script' right next time!

AJK
There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

Although that is not a spoonerism, one can be derived from it:

What's the difference between a perfect night in for Fidjit and for Mildread?
For one it's picking locks, for the other...

Sorry for lowering the tone... but I'm not finished yet!

What's the difference between Brother Mace securing a container of alcohol and Festus encountering Oakley?
One locks his keg, the other...

Outrageous. I can't imagine where you got the idea for such obscenity. *Looks innocent.* Here's a clean one;-

What's the difference between a large body of water below the Tower of Time, and Hordriss' perspective of Sidriss the Confused?

One is Dunswater, the other is One's Daughter.

Actually, the dirty ones are funnier.
