Resurrections

Post by KaM »

I received a message in my inbox recently.

shift + blend

Well...I don't know what to say.

Most importantly, I won't be returning to the forums I know there are too many people here that despise me far too much, this Emily and her friend Pickle largely, for me to even consider looking back.  In any case this is my last trip to the internet for free - if I waned to use it again I'd have to pay £2.50 an hour at my local Internet Cafe. Next, let me thank you for your kind words they are a great comfort.

Please also give my show of thanks to this Kieran

- he was NOT responsable for leaving in any way -

and also to this Robin whoever he/she is - you three seem very special.  One final boon -  if someone can now cancel my account I would be grateful.

Goodbye and thanks.
Janie.

Please make of it what you will.

I don't know what to say to that....Not one for being pleased to see people go, I am very unhappy about the whole situation.

Thank you for posting it RedMage, sir, I merely hope she shall return someday to this place, she is more than welcome.

I just hope it makes things clear, now.  Very saddening.

Well I too am sad it's come to this. I also have been put off this forum majorly by some of the idiotic postings and posters that are in abundance at times. Sometimes things things go too far and this is a clear example.

I hope the whole scenario is never repeated.

for the record I'm a 'he'  :)

It' really sad to see someone leave under strained circumstances, I have no idea what the problems reguarding this situation were but it's clear problems did exist, I just hope that they didn't have anything to do with me.

They didn't did they?

I'm not an idiotic poster am I?

*getting worried now*

And what's this whole shift + blend thing?

I really don't get that and am too nosy to remain blissfully ignorant!

I'm so glad i never encounterd any of this

*hugs all round*  ;D

This is very bad, indeed. :(

I like to think that the majority of my posts are proper contributions. There are, on occasion, a couple of silly ones but I've never ever been offensive. Any happy community always has a bit of jollity now and again.

I don't think that anyone meant to cause any kind of offense. I'm sure that it was a simple case of something said being taken the wrong way.

Very unfortunate, though, nonetheless. :(

:o

please...anyone who can remember the incident think carefully.

if you didn't then its in a topic somewhere.

look at what we actually said. we meant no offense...we were being friendly!

sure, i accept she mis-understood what we said and im very sorry it happened but if she took the time to go look at the topic again she'd have seen both mine and emii's apolergy for the mis-understanding and our assurances that we only wanted her to feel at home.

it was discussed for quite a while i believe.

I'm sorry someone has left but if what i said touched her so deeply im more worried for her future than the forums population. i don't "despise" her at all and im sure emii doesn't either. if what i/emii said got warped into hated then there's not much i can do about it.

shift + Blend believe me when i say i welcome you with open arms.

edit - i've dug up the link for anyone who wasn't round at the time...

Thanx for doing that Pickle, being the nosy fox I am I had a good look at that thread. I just think there were some misunderstandings and stuff was just blown out of proportion a bit, but it's none of business so...

Anyway, *puts on dodgy American accent*

perhaps we could all just put it behind us and get along, come on everybody! GROUP HUG!
