Kname Translation

Post by LordF »

I found this Website a couple of months where you can type your  name in and it translates it into Japanese.

I thought that we could use this to translate Knightmare characters names and User names from English into Japanese.

The website is: http://www.rcs.k12.va.us/csjh/japanesename.htm

Heres an Examples:

User Name: Lord Fear.

Japanese User Name: Rorude Fuaru.

Not quite  -  all it's really doing is providing the phonetic variation.

The letters R and L, the letters A, E and U, and the letters S and F are interchangeable when translating from Japanese into English and vice versa.

So if you look closely, you may notice that "Rorude Fuaru" is still the original English name, just mangled by being turned into Japanese and back again.

Still a fun idea though, by all means let's try it out!   :)

My name (Martin) translates as Marichinu.

You've never offended me, MPK. I just genuinely found your mock "vendetta" deeply un-entertaining, that's all.   :-/

Well that's not really surprising is it, seeing Emii's a Japanese name?  ;)

Er, FrightKnight translates as Furigufutsukunigufutsu.

Try saying that 10 times without tying your tongue in knots.

That looks like I just typed some random letters on the keyboard, to be brutally honest.
