Re: A rare Knightmare advert for CITV.
Thanks for that Canadanne. Interesting to see that Knightmare originally aired on a Monday which I didn't realise.
Interesting also that the trailer relied solely on the opening animation and theme tune rather than any game play. It certainly gave little indication of what the game would look like! Still, it would probably be quite hard to make an action packed trailer using footage of a quest.

Not seen this before. I guess the intro sells itself but at the same time it was brave to show it without any gameplay considering quests had been filmed. I knew it started on a Monday, I guess this was to guage how many viewers would watch it before moving it to a more popular day i.e Friday.
The only way is onward, there is no turning back.

I didn't either; mostly because I was 117 when Knightmare startedwombstar wrote:Am I the only one who never watched any of theses other shows? I was probably about 10 so kinda stopped watching CITV and the like other then the odd show.
Although is great to see a Beetlejuice poster in the background.
I remember my youngest sister watching Fun House, Grotbags and Woof; probably loads of others that I couldn't remember off the top of my head. I'd know them if I saw them.

Series 1 and 2 were both originally transmitted on a Monday afternoon, with Series 3 onwards being transmitted on Fridays.TimeMaster wrote:Thanks for that Canadanne. Interesting to see that Knightmare originally aired on a Monday which I didn't realise.
This trailer was a delight to see, and a true sign of things to come from back in the day. Thanks for sharing!
