Sewer Pipes

By Keith McDonald

A network of disused sewer pipes appeared at the beginning and end of the dungeon in Series 8.

In the final series, a network of disused sewer pipes linked Knightmare Castle to various areas of the dungeon.

Consequently, they could be found at the very beginning or very end of the quest.

One team discovers the sewers at the beginning of the quest instead of the usual Snapdragon Tunnels. Treguard describes it as a shortcut.

The winning team of Series 8 uses the sewer pipe to escape Marblehead at the end of Level 3. Hordriss the Confuser casts a spell to send a wooden platform moving up the pipe towards Knightmare Castle.

To prevent the following team from repeating this exit strategy, the Opposition blocks the entrance to the sewers with a Miretrog guard.

These sewers are separate to the Sewers of Goth, which are in Level 2 for the final season.

There's only one way to escape Marblehead, and that's by using one of its infernal devices
