Retro Gamer Magazine Article

Issue 90 of Retro Gamer Magazine includes an article on 'The Making of Knightmare' by writer Andrew Fisher.


The four-page article has particular emphasis on the computer games. It includes interviews from Hugo Myatt, David Rowe, Jon Dean and Mev Dinc (creators of the 8-bit game), Tony Crowther (creator of the Amiga game) and Knightmare.com webmaster, Alan Boyd.

The article features original artwork from David Rowe, who describes how his work formed the backgrounds that were seen by viewers. Other gems include the new innovations that the game brought.

When a team lost you could almost hear the groan sound over the land.

Those familiar with the computer games from Activision and Mindscape will enjoy the interviews with the game developers. Crowther reveals that he was sent a lot of scripts from the show to help him shape his environment.
